The philosophy behind the GANT brand is "Never Stop Learning". GANT has believed in this since 1949, when founder Bernard Gantmacher settled down as a shirt manufacturer in Connecticut. Until the late 1960s, GANT focused only on their shirt production, but in 1971 they launched their first collection of American Sportswear, including trousers, rugby shirts and ties. Today, GANT produces everything from shirts and ties to sweatshirts, knitwear and polo shirts. GANT can best be described as being both relaxed, but still in a beautiful classic and not least timeless design. Bygholm Menswear sells shirts, sweatshirts, t-shirts and polo shirts from GANT, among other things.
